ACECEinhal is a disposable medical device indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases with symptoms of thick and sticky secretions: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and its complications, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, sinusitis, exudative otitis media.

ACECEinhal works by diluting thick and sticky mucus with the physical / mechanical action of its components:

– sterile, buffered, hypertonic sodium chloride solution: hypertonic saline solutions applied directly to the mucosa through osmosis extract water from inside to outside the cell. This increases the percentage of water in the mucus lining the epithelium, which leads to a reduction in its amount, and thus facilitates its removal.

– N-acetylcysteine: a variation of the acetylated amino acid, it causes a mucolytic effect through direct contact with mucus. This action depends on the presence in the molecule of sulfhydryl radicals capable of breaking the disulfide bonds of mucoproteins that give mucus viscosity through their depolymerization. NAC also has an antioxidant effect that helps maintain respiratory epithelial tropism;
