C-VITAN is a Vitamin C 500 gm. Vitamin C helps in the proper production of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth. Vitamin C contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism and reduces the feeling of fatigue and weariness. Vitamin C helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system and the immune system, in maintaining proper psychological functions, in protecting cells against oxidative stress and helping to regenerate the reduced form of vitamin E. Moreover, vitamin C increases the absorption of iron and helps maintain the proper functioning of the immune system during and after intense exercise – beneficial effects occur when consuming 200 mg of vitamin C daily above the recommended daily dose of vitamin C.
