PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
REHYDROTOL is a drinking solution used to replenish electrolytes and fluids in the body in cases of acute diarrhea with mild or moderate dehydration. In cases of acute diarrhea, there is a risk of excessive dehydration (loss of fluids and electrolytes), which may increase after one day of vomiting and diarrhea. REHYDROTOL solution supplements the deficiency of electrolytes and fluids. The glucose contained in the product facilitates the absorption of fluids and sodium in the intestines. Citrate helps maintain the acid-base balance of the body.
COMPOSITION
One sachet contains: Glucose 6.75 g, Sodium chloride 1.30 g, Sodium citrate 1.45 g Potassium chloride 0.75 g, additional substances: citric acid 1.329 g; flavors 0.36g; sucralose 0.06g; riboflavin 0.001g. Solution osmolality: 245 mOsm/L.
USAGE
Rehydrotol solution should be used orally.
If body weight has decreased and/or, according to the doctor, mild or moderate dehydration has occurred, it is usually recommended to drink Rehydrotol solution in an amount of 50-100 ml / kg body weight. If necessary (dehydration is still present), you can drink additional amounts.
The solution should be drunk within four hours to ensure optimal reduction of deficiencies resulting from dehydration.

If a person experiences nausea or vomiting, it may be helpful to let the solution cool and drink small portions at a time, using a spoon or syringe. Then you can increase the amount you drink depending on the person’s capabilities.
